March on Stress Director and King’s College London Professor, Neil Greenberg will be using his expertise to speak to two different groups tomorrow, Wednesday 19 November 2014.
He is attending the International News Safety Institute (INSI) where he will talk about the occupational stress and trauma that may be encountered by journalists and members of the media, with a specific focus on the measures that media organisations can put in place to boost resilience.
INSI provides real-time, practical information, training and research to help journalists around the world do their jobs safely.
He is also speaking to Mental Health Studies MSc students at King’s College, specifically to those students sitting the disaster response module where he will be talking about psychological responses to a traumatic event.
Professor Greenberg is an academic psychiatrist based at King’s College London and is a consultant occupational and forensic psychiatrist. He is the current President of the UKPTS and one of the UK’s leading experts on post-traumatic stress disorder and occupational stress.
