A new article on dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for media professionals has been published on the International News Safety Institute (INSI) website, authored by leading UK PTSD expert and March on Stress Director Professor Neil Greenberg.
In the article, Professor Greenberg highlights that up to 30% of war correspondents may suffer with PTSD throughout their lives.
He also points out that there are numerous ways of decreasing the likelihood of media professionals becoming unwell, even if they work in highly challenging environments.
