Benefits of TRiM identified in new research review paper

A new paper has been published in the Journal of Occupational Medicine - the first to review the various studies of the use of Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) which have been published in scientific journals.

The review reported a number of positive key findings about the use of TRiM, including:

  • TRiM was found to do no harm (unlike some previously used models of trauma management such as critical incident debriefing)
  • TRiM may have a positive effect upon organisational functioning
  • TRiM appears acceptable to personnel within hierarchical organisations such as the military
  • TRiM may reduce organisation sickness absence rates after traumatic events

An abstract of the article is available via the Journal of Occupational Medicine, where the paper can also be downloaded in full. Please click here to access the paper.

Clinical services and Psychological Monitoring

As well as being the experts in TRiM, did you know we also offer a range or clinical services and are leading the way in psychological monitoring with our Wellness service?

Our Wellness service involves six monthly psychological health checks, carried out via an online questionnaire. The process ensures that those who need support can be signposted to help and allows organisations to show due diligence through the provision of a 'letter of compliance' for individuals engaged in the service. Contact us for more information and options.

We also work with expert clinicians in the field of trauma and psychological health and our team includes a range of consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and mental health nurses, all with unrivalled experience and expertise in their fields.

Read more on our clinical services or contact us to discuss your requirements.
