Huge congratulations to March on Stress Managing Director, Professor Neil Greenberg, who was honoured at the Royal College of Psychiatrists annual awards on Thursday 11 November 2021.
Professor Greenberg and colleagues from the London Nightingale Hospital Mental Health Team were awarded Psychiatric Team of the Year: Working-age adults 2021.
The team was set up early in the Covid-19 pandemic to design, implement and run the 24/7 staff mental health support at the Nightingale Hospital in London. The evidence-based model that the team put together was then used by all Nightingale Hospitals in the UK during the pandemic and was later used as the template for many NHS Trusts' staff support plans.
Professor Greenberg said: “I am delighted to have led the Nightingale London mental health team last year and work with some amazing colleagues. We were privileged to be able to support our NHS teams who came together to deliver fantastic care in difficult circumstances and it is a lovely surprise to win this award.”
The London Nightingale Hospital Mental Health Team was led by Professor Neil Greenberg, of March on Stress and King’s College London, working with psychiatric colleagues Dr Derek Tracy, Medical Director of West London NHS Trust and Dr Mark Tarn, Psychiatrist and Clinical Lead, West London NHS Trust as well as mental health nursing colleagues Dee Renwick, Jenny Nosworthy and Andy Kiani.
