Professor Greenberg begins term as SOM President

Congratulations to March on Stress Director, Professor Neil Greenberg, who officially became President of the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) yesterday, Tuesday 17th June 2025.

Previously a member of the SOM Board as a Trustee, he was announced as President Elect in December 2023.

Professor Greenberg is the first psychiatrist to be SOM President and takes on the role in SOM's 90th year. His term will last for two years.

He said: “It is such a privilege to take on this role and I am really looking forward to following on from all the wonderful previous Presidents.”
